Since 1985 over 19,500 people have tested positive for HIV in Toronto, over one quarter of Canada's HIV-positive population. The need is great and Toronto People With AIDS Foundation (PWA) provides accessible, direct and practical information and support services, such as food, health promotion, income support and treatment programs. The Friends For Life Bike Rally supports PWA and helps to raise almost half of its annual operating budget.
On July 29, 2012, more than 400 people will embark on a six-day, 600 km journey from Toronto to Montreal. Riders of all ages and levels of experience and crew supporting a variety of activities along the route will unite in their passion to support people living with HIV/AIDS. Join the Friends For Life Bike Rally for fitness, for charity, for the love of community and friendship, and to make a positive difference.
