
You need to train for this event so if you can, why not do it with the people you're going to be travelling with? The weekly training rides are a great way for riders to get to know each other before we leave for Montreal. They also give you a good idea of what it is like to cycle in a large group - a little intimidating if you're not used to it.
Training rides start at 35km and progressivley get longer throughout the season. For each training ride we provide:
There were many comments from last year's rider survey concerning the training routes and maps. As a response we will continue to assess all training rides to see if they fit our needs, delete them if they don't, modify them if necessary and possibly add new ones.
NOTE: Training ride route maps for Bike Rally 2012 will be added to this page as they become available.
First training ride: Saturday April 14, departingt 10 a.m., Finch subway station.
Subsequent training rides will be on Sunday April 22, Saturday April 28 and Sunday May 6.
