New Co-Chair For 2012
The Bike Rally and PWA are pleased to announce that Tim Ledger is co-chair with Sherri Byer for the 14th Annual Friends For Life Bike Rally. Tim brings years of experience as a rider and committee work. This past year Tim was co-lead of the Media and Communications Committee.
We welcome Tim to this role and wish him all the best for the next two years. We are confident that the leadership that Sherri and Tim will provide over the next year will make this one of the best year's yet.

Sponsorship Committee Leads and Members
This is an immediate call for anyone interested in joining the Sponsorship Committee, as leads or members, for the 14th Annual Friends For Life Bike Rally to please submit a volunteer interest form by Friday, September 2, 2011. Details on deadlines for other committee submissions are in the Call To Action Meeting notice below.

Call To Action Information Session
Would you like to contribute your time and energy to this great event? Do you have ideas on how to help the Bike Rally grow? Then you should attend this information session - your opportunity to ask questions and learn about the various committees that keep the Bike Rally rolling year after year. The Co-Chairs will be recruiting Steering Committee members and sub-committee volunteers. Put your name forward and help make a positive difference in the Bike Rally. Please complete the volunteer interest form.
Join us on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. at the PWA offices, 200 Gerrard St. E., 2nd Floor. Committee lead role submissions are to be returned by Friday, September 16, 2011. If you can't make this evening, please contact the Co-Chairs for details.

Outstanding Efforts
At the Bike Rally Reunion party, recognition was given to all of our amazing gold jersey top fundraisers. A special thanks was given to two people for their outstanding fundraising efforts. Stephanie Jones and Harvey Malinsky have both individually raised more than $100,000 during their tenure with the Bike Rally. PWA would like to extend a special thank you to Stephanie and Harvey for their efforts!

About Us
On July 29, 2012, 400 courageous individuals will embark on an incredible journey. For six days, our riders will cycle more than 600km from Toronto to Montreal with the support of a fabulous crew, and in doing so will raise thousands of dollars for men, transmen, transwomen, women and children living with HIV/AIDS. The experience promises to have a profound impact on the lives of each and every participant.

PWA is currently selling the large Rubbermaid bins leftover from this year's event for $5. Please stop by PWA offices Monday to Thursday (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) or Friday (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) to pick some up.
