Toronto Bicycle Network
The Toronto Bicycle Network (TBN) will waive the $5 non-member fee on ALL weekday and weekend training rides from now until July 25, 2009. (For details, see "Cycling Schedules" on their website: www.tbn.ca.)
This is a great way to supplement the Bike Rally training rides and a chance to meet more great people. Just identify yourself as a participant in the Friends For Life Bike Rally. TBN also has several century rides (100 miles - 200 miles), including a 2-day ride June 20-21, to add more choices to an already busy cycling season.
TBN is also offering a discounted TBN membership if you wish to join. The discount is equivalent to renewal rates for existing TBN members so you do not have to pay the first year premium. This $35 single membership allows you to take advantage of TBN rides throughout the year as well as social activities, bus day trips, clinics, inline skating, mountain biking, hiking programs and the skiing programs, ice skating, spinning classes through the winter (to stay in shape for next year's Bike Rally!)
