1. Jersey Fittings and Social

We will be ordering our cycling jerseys shortly and in order to ensure that everyone looks fabulous we will be doing a number of things to help you.

Jersey Social

Date
Tuesday, May 6th, 2008, 7:00 PM

Location
Byzantium, 499 Church Street

First we will be having a try-on night at Byzantium on Tuesday May 6 starting at 7:00 p.m. You can to try on sample jerseys from Sugoi to see how gorgeous you’ll look and ensure you have the right fit. At the same time, socialize with your Bike Rally mates.

If you can’t make it to Byzantium we’re setting up try-on nights at the offices of The Toronto People With AIDS Foundation, 399 Church Street, 2nd floor. The try-on dates are on the next three Wednesdays, April 30th, May 7th and May 14th from 5:30 – 7:00 PM.

If you can’t make it to any of the try-on dates then use the following size chart to determine what size you are. Also, for those riders who participated in last year’s ride, the jerseys will be the same cut as last year’s so you can go by those jerseys to determine your size.

Women's Size Chart

Men's Size Chart

For example: if a women has a 27-28 inch waist and a 34-35 inch chest, she would be a Small.

Please note that it will be YOUR responsibility to verify that the jersey size that is listed in your profile in the Artez system is the size you want. If it is not correct please change it. From your login page click on the “My Profile” tab, then click on “Edit survey questions” from the side menu.

Edit survey questions page

Once the order is placed we will NOT be able to revise it and you will be given the size that corresponds to what’s listed in your profile. Because of the cost of the jerseys and our efforts to make sure as much money as possible goes towards PWA we will not be ordering extra jerseys so you will not be able to exchange yours for another size.

The order for the jerseys will be sent in the morning of Friday May 16th, 2008 so please ensure that you verify your jersey size in Artez by Thursday May 15th. Experienced riders will be on hand to provide guidance. You will be required to bring your bike, or at least one of the wheels, to the seminar.

Riders will also be able to answer your general questions about basic bike maintenance, what equipment to purchase, cycling gear and what essentials you should carry with you on the training rides and on the Rally itself.
