Joel Rodrigues

2nd year on the Bike Rally

In 2007, I joined the road safety crew as I could help ensure rider safety and encourage riders along the way by cheering, dancing and shaking my grove thing in outrageous costumes. Last year taught me that the Bike Rally is much more than the xi days it takes us to get from Toronto to Montreal; it's a year in the making. This is the rally's 10th year and I wanted to do more to ensure it was the best year yet. The PR committee has been an amazing learning experience for me and I get to work with an awesome team and help promote the Bike Rally and education about PWA.

Mark Wilson

2nd year on the Bike Rally

This is my second year participating in the Friends for Life Bike Rally. Last year I had a blast as part of the road safety crew. I was so inspired by many of the riders that I decided I had to ride this year and what a better year to do my first ride but on the 10th anniversary. I've been training hard and I am looking forward to getting on the road with all the other cyclists this year. The PWA is a great foundation and I am pleased to be able to support them. My fund raising is going well and I hope to exceed my goal.

Robert Dykeman

2nd year on the Bike Rally

I am pleased to be working with the PR team for a second year.  The summer of 2002 was when I first learn about the Friends For Life Bike Rally from one of the past co-chairs, Bruce Mayhew, who planted a seed that took a few years to nurture.  Five years later, I did my first ride and took an active roll in the organizing of the ride as the Bike Rally Co-ordinator.   When not focusing on the Bike Rally, I am on staff at MCC Toronto, and fill my free time traveling and enjoying the vibrant city of Toronto
